BonBon's Belated Bumbler

I never get creeped out by the internet anymore, imageboards have made sure of that. In fact, I go out of my way to watch videos focused on surgery and infection. Still, there’s something about this gif that just makes me nervous.

It’s something about the angle, and being able to watch the whole motion of swallowing that feels dehumanizing. It makes me think about how much work our bodies do that’s both mechanical and autonomous, to the point where our bodies are just machines. Doctors are just human plumbers/electricians in my eyes anyways.. Seeing the body X-Rayed and in motion, though fascinating, removes some of the mystery and to me some of its soul. It makes me wonder if humans even have a soul, and if consciousness could be called a soul.. not that there’s any real answer to that.

I know this is really deep to go for a simple swallowing gif, but studying neuro/anatomy brings me to that question fairly often, and I never really have any answers.

**On a lighter note, Tucker Max (whom some of you know as the career douchebag/author of ‘I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell’) convinced a lab technician to give him a blowjob in front of an X-Ray video recorder. The vid is online (looking for a link now) and it’s pretty damn bizarre/funny… though IMO it’s definitely not worth the radiation.
