Summertime feels so good
God From The Machine
Santigold
Lorenz Rhode - Back
It’s like a funky/disco Daft Punk. At least, that’s what I’m pulling from it

Excuse me while I go vomit in the sink.
Apparently partying like a millionaire means going to a motel 6 with tan meth-heads and contracting HIV via gross sex and dirty needles.
Before people run off with this and say ‘this is a product of our generation’ I’ll just say there’s shit music in every single decade, no questions asked. There is a strange obsession with being rich and partying right now though. It’s really polarizing, because you have people who support social equality and the Occupy movements on one side who (sometimes) equate being rich to being a dick, and then you have pop stars and magazines pushing themes similar to this.
Strange times we’re living in.
Dancing Shoes
Arctic Monkeys
I’ll be associating this album with summertime until the day I die.
A Long Time
Mayer Hawthorne
Mayer Hawthorne’s ode to Detroit: A Long Time
For the city that brought a booming auto industry and Motown Records - you might not ever be the same but you WILL come back. Detroit natives will never turn their back on you..

I’m already really digging this album, which is a relief considering I’ve been waiting the full four years for it.

Wefunk is a Canadian Soul/Funk/Hip-Hop radio station that gets it right. They’ve been broadcasting since ‘97 with a lot of DJs running through, but they’ve never stopped playing what they love. I’ve found a lot of my favorite artists/songs through this site, and with so many archived shows I can essentially pick one according to my mood.
PLUS - There are no advertisements, and you can skip to any song you want.
Seriously, Wefunk is awesome. If you don’t believe me just open the link to the show I’ve picked out.
